
The Apprenticeship Factory, Kyabram District League (KDL) is pleased to announce their fixture for season 2026 has now been finalised, with the season set to kick off on the Saturday 11 April 2025.
KDL President Peter Cordy said, “2025 was a fantastic season for the League. Our football and netball competitions were exciting and culminated in a thrilling finals series. Moving into 2026, the home and away season will be 18 rounds, with teams playing 16 games 8 home and 8 away with 2 byes. This will be again followed by a 4-week Finals Series.”
The League will hold it’s annual Say No to Violence Round during Round 6 and its Indigenous Round during Round 13.
Cordy continued by saying, “The 2026 season will continue to see games scheduled on Sundays to ensure umpires are able to be appointed to all senior football games and allow greater mentoring and badging of netball umpires. Sunday games are also the league’s broadcast games which allow us to further promote our league. Having Sunday games also affords clubs the opportunity to host a game with a finals-like atmosphere during the season as they are typically well attended.”
The Finals series is set to commence on the 22 August with the Grand Final scheduled for the 12 of September 2026.
Cordy said, “We look forward to continuing to work with all our member clubs as we prepare for Season 2026.”
